Furnace Coil Heater

Furnace Coil Heater

DHE offers Electric Coil Heaters that can be classified based on their levels of energy input and heat output. Furthermore, they can be categorized according to the shape of the heating coil and whether the design is open or closed.

Open-coil heaters have the metal coil directly exposed. Because of this, heat has no covering to protect it. As a result, there is excellent efficiency in the heat energy transfer from the coil to the surrounding medium. These designs are considerably less expensive and require less upkeep than other options. The Coil, however, can be vulnerable to damage and might not be suitable for all heating applications, particularly when safety is an area of concern. They act as a de facto way to reduce the amount of watt density needed and stop heat-sensitive materials from degrading.

Features

Extremely high temperatures can be generated when the coil is spiraled. This has a high heat transfer rate in a constrained area.
Flexible Shape – Electric Coil Heaters have a high degree of ductility, allowing for almost limitless design possibilities. You can therefore adapt them to the application.
These heaters are simple to maintain and repair. Even with minimum upkeep, they are exceedingly durable.
The coil’s low mass facilitates rapid heat transfer during both heating and cooling.
Open coil heaters are versatile enough to be employed in liquid immersion, gas heating, sub-freezing, and a variety of other applications.

Applications

Lab Equipment, Medical and Scientific equipment
Injection machine nozzle
HVAC Systems
Oil and water Tanks
Machine Component
Freeze protection and food process equipment
