sillicon carbide heating elements

sillicon carbide heating elements

DHE offers Silicon carbide has a high electrical conductivity compared to other ceramic materials. The elements are formed by pressing or extrusion followed by sintering. Rods and tubes are the most common types of heating elements. They have a diameter of 0.5 to 3 inches and a length of between 0.2 and 3.5 meters. They have metallic ends for electrical connections and often have both connections on one end. They often have two helical slots that stop short of each other, similar to a twisted hairpin shape.
